Overview
We are seeking a Lead Creative Applications Support Technician to serve as the primary IT resource supporting Creative and Design teams across the organization. This role will focus on administration, optimization, and governance of creative technology platforms, while acting as the central escalation point for design-related systems and applications.
This is a hands-on role supporting a Mac-heavy, design-centric environment and will report directly to the Regional IT Manager, with close collaboration with senior IT leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the dedicated IT lead for Creative team technology support
• Administer and support Autodesk Vault (PDM environment)
• Support Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk suite, and 3D rendering applications
• Provide advanced desktop support across macOS and Windows environments
• Troubleshoot application performance issues, plug-ins, licensing, and integrations
• Evaluate and help consolidate creative software tools to drive standardization
• Partner with Creative leadership to understand production workflows
• Manage upgrades, patching, and version control of creative applications
• Oversee application lifecycle and licensing management
• Document configurations, support processes, and best practices
• Act as escalation point for complex creative-technology issues
Qualifications
• 4–7+ years of IT support experience, including support of creative application environments
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Autodesk products
• Experience administering or supporting Autodesk Vault strongly preferred
• Strong experience in Mac environments (enterprise support)
• Familiarity with 3D rendering and design production workflows
• Experience managing software licensing and version control
• Ability to operate independently and act as a consultative technology partner to Creative teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder-facing skills
