Position Overview:
We are seeking a Citrix DaaS Engineer
to lead and support the migration, implementation, and ongoing management of our Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) platform. The engineer will play a hands-on role in designing, deploying, and supporting Citrix Cloud/DaaS solutions, ensuring seamless access to applications and desktops for end-users in a high-demand legal environment.

Design, implement, and support Citrix DaaS solutions tailored for a law firm environment, ensuring high availability and security.

Lead the migration from traditional on-premises VDI/desktop solutions to cloud-hosted Citrix DaaS.

Configure and manage Citrix Cloud, Citrix Workspace, Virtual Apps and Desktops, and related components.

Collaborate with IT leadership, application owners, and vendors to align desktop delivery with business needs.

Support integration with Microsoft 365, document management systems (iManage/NetDocuments), and legal applications.

Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize virtual desktop environments.

Ensure compliance with firm security policies, data governance, and industry regulations.

Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, and provide knowledge transfer to IT support teams.

Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex Citrix/DaaS issues.

5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting Citrix environments (XenApp/XenDesktop, Citrix Cloud, DaaS).

Experience with Citrix Workspace, StoreFront, Citrix Gateway, Machine Creation Services (MCS), and profile management tools.

Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and Windows Server environments.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

Familiarity with legal industry applications (iManage, NetDocuments, Workshare, BigHand, etc.) preferred.

Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in complex environments.

Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work directly with attorneys and senior staff.

Citrix certifications (CCA-V, CCP-V, CCE-V, or Citrix Cloud certifications) strongly preferred.

Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Midtown Manhattan, 2 days remote.

Standard law firm business hours, with occasional after-hours support for upgrades or critical incidents.
