About the Opportunity
A well-established organization is looking for an early-career Accountant to join its growing finance and accounting team. This is a strong opportunity for someone with approximately 1–2 years of experience who wants to continue building their accounting foundation in a larger, professional environment.
This role could be especially attractive to someone coming from public accounting or a Big 4 environment who wants strong career development without the same pace and demands.
What You’ll Do
- Support day-to-day accounting activities and month-end processes
- Review financial data, reconciliations, and reports for accuracy
- Identify discrepancies and assist with resolving accounting issues
- Support financial reporting and general accounting analysis
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Partner with accounting and finance team members on ongoing initiatives
- Assist with ad hoc financial and analytical projects
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Approximately 1–2 years of accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Ability to review financial information and identify discrepancies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a professional team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Public accounting or Big 4 experience
- Experience working within a mid-to-large organization
- Currently pursuing a CPA
- Strong academic background

Schedule
This is a hybrid position based in East Brunswick, NJ, with an expectation of approximately 4 days onsite per week
and some flexibility around the specific days.
